Sister Reagan Garrick

Hi! Soo I mentioned it Saturday, but I have been transferred! I'm in Maryvale with my MTC companion, Sister Hall. We live with two Hermanas, Cienfuegos and Robison, who also came out the same time as us! Its so fun!  Maryvale is a tad different than Northern Glendale haha. The 2 sounds you always hear are cats meowing and sirens haha.. When I told Flo, a convert in my ward, that I was being transferred to Maryvale, she looked scared, started crying, hugged me super tight and started saying a Catholic type prayer haha.. Kinda made me worried about coming down here but its really not bad, and, the Lord protects His missionaries! I haven't met too many people yet, but the ones I have met are so generous and kind! We spent Thanksgiving with the Floyd's and their friends and family! They were also super kind to us and made us feel like family.  The sealing I went to was a sealing for Jenna and William Schwartz. So, long story short, my p-day was moved to today so that I could go to a sealing [temple wedding], but I don't have a lot of time so I will write more on Monday!  I was transferred to the Maryvale area down in Phoenix and I'm back with my MTC companion, and best friend, Sister Hall!! I love her and I love it here!  Everyone and their mothers should light the world this Christmas season! So our miles (for our car) were cut, so we have been walking more! Its only a 30 minute walk from our house to church so that's nice! We walked to dinner a couple times this week too! We had lots of exchanges this week and one tonight and then like 2 more I think? So crazy busy. We had trainer trainee meeting and zone conference is this week! I'm almost done with training ahhh!! I'm not sick anymore so that's good! Heather's baptism is this Saturday! We took her to a musical called Praise to the Man and she loved it!  I sang in 2 sacrament meetings which was so awesome! This week went by so fast!  We had a pretty scary Halloween full of huge spider webs, giant daddy long legs, dead rats, creepy dolls coated in dust and dirt, and 150+ bags of garbage! We spent 5 hours cleaning out a hoarder's garage, house, and backyard! It was really sad to see, and the smell of cigarettes lingered on our clothes and hair, but it was great service! And, now the hoarder is meeting with the sister missionaries in his area! :)  The sun starts to go down around 5 here, and once its dark, people do NOT want to be bothered haha. That's hard for us, so, we have been "heart attacking" some people's doors recently which has been super fun and brightens people's days :) We had lunch with Larry at Cracker Barrel on Wednesday! Lessons with Heather and Alex on Thursday. Heather is SO excited for her baptism in 2 weeks! She's been pinterest-ing ideas haha she's so funny!
