Its P-day Again!

Hi! Soo I mentioned it Saturday, but I have been transferred! I'm in Maryvale with my MTC companion, Sister Hall. We live with two Hermanas, Cienfuegos and Robison, who also came out the same time as us! Its so fun!

Maryvale is a tad different than Northern Glendale haha. The 2 sounds you always hear are cats meowing and sirens haha.. When I told Flo, a convert in my ward, that I was being transferred to Maryvale, she looked scared, started crying, hugged me super tight and started saying a Catholic type prayer haha.. Kinda made me worried about coming down here but its really not bad, and, the Lord protects His missionaries! I haven't met too many people yet, but the ones I have met are so generous and kind!

We spent Thanksgiving with the Floyd's and their friends and family! They were also super kind to us and made us feel like family.

The sealing I went to was a sealing for Jenna and William Schwartz. This is a ordinance, performed in the temple, of celestial marriage, in which husband and wife are sealed to one another for eternity, not just "til death do you part". A sealing performed in the temple continues forever if the husband and wife are faithful to the covenants they make. It is centered on Christ and building their relationship with Him. :)

Something also super cool, Sister Hall and I were chosen to go to Mesa a few times and be tour missionaries at the temple/visitors center for the temple Christmas lights! So let me know if any of you will be there!!

MIRACLE! Last night, we met a man named Jhonaton (yes, that's how it's spelled haha). He is a member but has kind of fallen away and lost his faith. He was thinking about how he wants to come back to church and knows that he should. A few minutes later, he received a call from  some sister missionaries in Mesa! They sent his information to us, we called him, and set up an appointment in an hour from that time! We met him and had the best conversation and he is so excited and hopeful to come closer to Christ and get his life back on track. :)

The Gospel of Jesus Christ is truly amazing. I testify it is true! We can be sealed to our families for eternity. We can repent, change our ways, and become perfected in Christ. Jesus Christ performed His atoning sacrifice for us, so that we can be comforter, healed, and strengthened. He knows you and loves you. He is always there! He will never turn His back on you. His arms are always outstretched. Turn to Him. Let Him in!

Love you all! Check out how you can #LightTheWorld at mormon.org!
