Time Flies When You're Serving the Lord

HOLY COW how do I only have one more week at the MTC?! Time seriously flies when youre having fun and serving the Lord. We have SO much fun here- haha- everything is funny to us (everyone in my district) We laugh at the weirdest things. 

I'm going to be very bold and testify of the truth of The Book of Mormon. It is truly another testament of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon either came from Jesus Christ or Satan.. and Satan would NEVER write anything so convincing of the fact that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. I promise all of you that if you read the Book of Mormon and pray to know if its true, with an open heart and sincere desire, you will receive an answer through the Holy Ghost. There is no other book in the world that brings so much peace and joy. I would not be on a mission if I did not know for a fact that it is truly the word of God. I know its true and I have found so much guidance in my life and answers to questions and prayers in this book. If you are not reading, or have never read, the Book of Mormon, I invite you to start now! :)

The Eclipse!! So we were actually with our new investigator when the eclipse was going on so we decided to all go outside haha! Some missionaries let us borrow their glasses so we could look at it. It was so cool! People were cheering haha it was funny. It was SO weird though. It got slightly darker and cooler outside and our shadows were strange. I couldnt get a good picture but you can see the eclipse in the reflection of the sun, and you can kinda see the little cresents on my hands shadow.
Investigators!! So we finished meeting with McKelle but she has a baptismal date and now we are teaching a girl named Maddy. She was atheist for part of her life and now has a desire to know God and have a realtionship with Him and Jesus Christ. She is awesome. 
We are also still meeting with Anna from Russia and shes doing great! We love her and she said she missed us since we hadn't seen her since Friday. :') 

Devotional with Kenneth Cope. Such a unique experience haha. He is kinda a cheese ball but His testimony is powerful and his music is amazing. He wrote songs like "His Hands", "God loves Broken Things", and is writing a musical called "Son of Man" about Jesus Christ. 

I testify that God has a plan for us. His plan immensely blesses families. He loves us SO much that He sent His Son, Jesus Christ. Christ loves us so much that He willingly suffered every pain, sorrow, and temptation for us, and laid down His life for us. Christ is our way back home. Heavenly Father is aware of you. He knows you by name. You are His child. He loves you unconditionally. I love and pray for you all! Email me! Houston, we have a baptism!

Hello, One last time! :') Houston was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints this weekend! It was so powerful. The spirit was tangible.  It is such a bittersweet feeling to know this is my last pday and last email. I feel so much peace and fulfillment that the last 18 months of my life have been in the service of my God.  Around 4 years ago I prayed about how I wanted to serve a mission and asked Him if that was in line with His will for me. Heavenly Father led me to a verse in Doctrine and Covenants chapter 4 that says "..if ye have desires to serve God ye are called to the work". This was one of the rare times where my prayer was answered specifically and written out right in front of me.  Since then, I have received many more answers to my prayers. Its P-day Again!

Hi! Soo I mentioned it Saturday, but I have been transferred! I'm in Maryvale with my MTC companion, Sister Hall. We live with two Hermanas, Cienfuegos and Robison, who also came out the same time as us! Its so fun!  Maryvale is a tad different than Northern Glendale haha. The 2 sounds you always hear are cats meowing and sirens haha.. When I told Flo, a convert in my ward, that I was being transferred to Maryvale, she looked scared, started crying, hugged me super tight and started saying a Catholic type prayer haha.. Kinda made me worried about coming down here but its really not bad, and, the Lord protects His missionaries! I haven't met too many people yet, but the ones I have met are so generous and kind! We spent Thanksgiving with the Floyd's and their friends and family! They were also super kind to us and made us feel like family.  The sealing I went to was a sealing for Jenna and William Schwartz. Roadtrip!

Heyy!! I'm emailing today because its transfer week so P-day is on Tuesdays every 6 weeks. So this was the longest week but so jam packed busy. Let's start with sad news so that we have a happy ending haha.. soo we lost our favorite ward, Sonoran Mountain, with all our progressing investigators, who we love so much, and our family away from home, the Zamarrons :( There were ward boundary and building changes. So, since transfers are this week, they fixed it all up and we got transferred out of that ward. But, we still have our 2 other great wards, and new ward, Arrowhead ranch (which actually has a lot of members we already know because the ward boundaries changed between them and Sierra Verde).  ANYWAY, I feel comfort and peace about this whole situation and... drum roll please, SISTER KNOX IS AN STL (sister training leader)!!
