Spirit Animals

Sooo this week was amazing.  Rachel has accepted the invitation to be baptized and is so excited! We took her to a baptism and she said she can't wait for hers in a couple weeks! :) We went to the temple and had a very spiritual experience. I witness that  Heavenly Father truly answers prayers! Pray specifically. He will answer you through the Holy Ghost.  Cool miracle last night! After our dinner appointment at a members apartment, we walked outside and saw a guy fishing in the neighborhood pond haha he caught a catfish and asked if we wanted to see it. Sister Knox took pictures of it. He said he feeds them to his dogs. He and his wife were outside and invited us in as we got to talking and they recognized who we are. They said they're open for anything that will help them and bring them peace. Their son recently passed away and its been really hard on them. They invited us to come back and teach them :) they're awesome and the Lord has truly prepared them to receiv...

There's lots of quail here. Anyway, Hi!!  Such an eventful week! We had exchanges on Tuesday sooo I took over the area.. which is crazy.. Haha. I taught Josh his first lesson and it was awesome! Josh is 16 years old and he's super good at guitar and lives with his grandma, who's a member of the church. He decided to meet with the missionary because he desires to come closer to Christ :) I taught the Restoration using Jenga and showing the new First vision video. <IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THAT VIDEO, GO WATCH IT HERE'S THE LINK>>>  https://www. lds .org/ media-library/video/topics/ joseph -smith? lang = eng We taught Rachel (16 years old) the second lesson and the spirit was SO strong. We showed the first vision video to her as well and she said she could tell the difference between Joseph Smith's account and "delusional people who claimed they have seen god". It was amazing how she was able to discern the difference and feel the Spirit....

This has been a crazy awesome week! 1. STAY AWAY FROM CACTUS NEEDLES   Sooo a piece of an arm of a cactus broke off and landed on my foot. The needles went through my shoe and sock and about a centimeter into my toe.  HA! Nasty. Sista Knox made me soak my foot to help me get the needles out because it would NOT come out. Finally, after soaking an pulling super hard with tweezers, I got them out haha. So yeah stay away from cacti. I'll send a pic of the kind it was. 2. Miracles happen. There were multiple times when the Spirit put someone's name in my mind and so I thought "We should go visit them". It happened thrice....THRICE In 2 two days! Anyway each time, if we would've been even a minute later, we would've missed them. Twice they were on their way out and wouldn't be home the rest of the day, and one time they would've had kids going to bed and wouldn't have answered the door. So cool. The Lord is in charge of this work, not us. ...

You Would Not Believe Your Eyes in 10 Million Cacti..

I'm in Glendale, Arizona! I'm so blessed to be in this area area with such an amazing trainer! :) We cover 3 wards and one of the wards has over 520 members. Crazzzyyyy! Lots are less active though so we're doing our best to reach out to them and help/invite them to come back.❤ Ok my companion/trainer is Sister Knox! She's awesome! She's a super cute teeny tiny missionary. She's been out for almost a year. She's 21, went to BYUI, and is super sweet and loving and the best trainer anyone could ever want. She's super humble, willing, works hard but also has fun! We jam out to Gladys Knight and the Brown Hymn Book all the time haha it's the best.  So much has happened. We went on a hike my first morning here with President Collins. PS I LOVE President and Sister Collins so much. They're truly incredible people. So kind and loving. And they have a funny, energetic 13 year old son named Scott. Their other kids are older and aren't at hom...
