Spirit Animals

Sooo this week was amazing. 

 Rachel has accepted the invitation to be baptized and is so excited! We took her to a baptism and she said she can't wait for hers in a couple weeks! :) We went to the temple and had a very spiritual experience. I witness that  Heavenly Father truly answers prayers! Pray specifically. He will answer you through the Holy Ghost. 
Cool miracle last night! After our dinner appointment at a members apartment, we walked outside and saw a guy fishing in the neighborhood pond haha he caught a catfish and asked if we wanted to see it. Sister Knox took pictures of it. He said he feeds them to his dogs. He and his wife were outside and invited us in as we got to talking and they recognized who we are. They said they're open for anything that will help them and bring them peace. Their son recently passed away and its been really hard on them. They invited us to come back and teach them :) they're awesome and the Lord has truly prepared them to receive His true gospel. I love them so much! 

Oh! This week we helped out with one of the service projects at youth conference! If you've never heard of DAYS FOR GIRLS, look it up! Really great stuff. We helped out with that and got to know some of the youth better :)  If you're looking for opportunities to serve, check out JustServe.org :) its awesome it will show you places and ways you can serve in your area!

I invite you all to watch! It's this Saturday and Sunday. You can watch live from home in your pajamas and everything! Haha. But seriously if you want a question answered, pray about it, and listen to the Lord's disciples speak! :) I promise as you listen with your spiritual ears you will receive an answer from the Lord through His servants. 
I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and I love sharing it with others!

Houston, we have a baptism!

Hello, One last time! :') Houston was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints this weekend! It was so powerful. The spirit was tangible.  It is such a bittersweet feeling to know this is my last pday and last email. I feel so much peace and fulfillment that the last 18 months of my life have been in the service of my God.  Around 4 years ago I prayed about how I wanted to serve a mission and asked Him if that was in line with His will for me. Heavenly Father led me to a verse in Doctrine and Covenants chapter 4 that says "..if ye have desires to serve God ye are called to the work". This was one of the rare times where my prayer was answered specifically and written out right in front of me.  Since then, I have received many more answers to my prayers. Its P-day Again!

Hi! Soo I mentioned it Saturday, but I have been transferred! I'm in Maryvale with my MTC companion, Sister Hall. We live with two Hermanas, Cienfuegos and Robison, who also came out the same time as us! Its so fun!  Maryvale is a tad different than Northern Glendale haha. The 2 sounds you always hear are cats meowing and sirens haha.. When I told Flo, a convert in my ward, that I was being transferred to Maryvale, she looked scared, started crying, hugged me super tight and started saying a Catholic type prayer haha.. Kinda made me worried about coming down here but its really not bad, and, the Lord protects His missionaries! I haven't met too many people yet, but the ones I have met are so generous and kind! We spent Thanksgiving with the Floyd's and their friends and family! They were also super kind to us and made us feel like family.  The sealing I went to was a sealing for Jenna and William Schwartz. Roadtrip!

Heyy!! I'm emailing today because its transfer week so P-day is on Tuesdays every 6 weeks. So this was the longest week but so jam packed busy. Let's start with sad news so that we have a happy ending haha.. soo we lost our favorite ward, Sonoran Mountain, with all our progressing investigators, who we love so much, and our family away from home, the Zamarrons :( There were ward boundary and building changes. So, since transfers are this week, they fixed it all up and we got transferred out of that ward. But, we still have our 2 other great wards, and new ward, Arrowhead ranch (which actually has a lot of members we already know because the ward boundaries changed between them and Sierra Verde).  ANYWAY, I feel comfort and peace about this whole situation and... drum roll please, SISTER KNOX IS AN STL (sister training leader)!!
