"Dunk" or treat!

Another great week!
Okay my title thing is so clever haha but you'll have to read to see why and hear the MIRACLE story behind it! 

So on Thursday, we had our first lesson with Heather! We were on "splits", so I was with a member from a different ward, and I taught the Restoration by myself.. haha.. woo! Luckily, the members (whose house we were at) are SO amazing and joined in on the lesson. Their comments were so essential. Members are some of the best missionaries! Heather received the message so well and we were able to answer all her questions. We talked about baptism and she said that if she received an answer that this is Christs church, she would be baptized. The next night, at the trunk or treat, she expressed her desire to "be a full Mormon" haha. We told her she could be baptized and she was SO excited!! We set November 18th as her date! She's awesome we are so excited for her!
(Dunk or treat.. because shes on date to get dunked haha..ha..get it?)

Heather bore her testimony at church yesterday and we BAWLED like babies. The Spirit was SO strong and it was amazing to see how much she has progressed in such a short period of time! That's what the gospel of Jesus Christ does! It's crazy to think that just last week, we were in the hall giving her a Book of Mormon; she had so many questions and was seeking truth and joy and light. And now, just a week later, she is preparing for baptism, has already highlighted (and posted) scripture verses, has started her personal progress, and so much more! She. Is. Amazing. She shines so bright. The Light of Christ is burning strong in her, and you can visibly see a difference in her countenance. 
It is a true testimony builder to see how drastically (and quickly in this case) the Gospel of Jesus Christ can change a person.

I LOVE the people here and I love missionary work! Their joy is far greater than any trial I will go through on my mission; and their joy brings me so much joy! :) 

I bear witness that Joseph Smith was a true prophet called of God, just like Moses, Abraham, or Noah. He read James 1:5, seeking an answer. His prayer was answered and this video shows the event that took place:

If you have a real desire to know if this truly happened, pray about it with real intent and sincere desire, and I promise you will receive an answer through the power of the Holy Ghost. I have received that answer. I share this message with people in Arizona, such as Heather, and I see how much it positively changes lives. I know this is Christ's church that prophets have testified of.

Houston, we have a baptism!

Hello, One last time! :') Houston was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints this weekend! It was so powerful. The spirit was tangible.  It is such a bittersweet feeling to know this is my last pday and last email. I feel so much peace and fulfillment that the last 18 months of my life have been in the service of my God.  Around 4 years ago I prayed about how I wanted to serve a mission and asked Him if that was in line with His will for me. Heavenly Father led me to a verse in Doctrine and Covenants chapter 4 that says "..if ye have desires to serve God ye are called to the work". This was one of the rare times where my prayer was answered specifically and written out right in front of me.  Since then, I have received many more answers to my prayers. Its P-day Again!

Hi! Soo I mentioned it Saturday, but I have been transferred! I'm in Maryvale with my MTC companion, Sister Hall. We live with two Hermanas, Cienfuegos and Robison, who also came out the same time as us! Its so fun!  Maryvale is a tad different than Northern Glendale haha. The 2 sounds you always hear are cats meowing and sirens haha.. When I told Flo, a convert in my ward, that I was being transferred to Maryvale, she looked scared, started crying, hugged me super tight and started saying a Catholic type prayer haha.. Kinda made me worried about coming down here but its really not bad, and, the Lord protects His missionaries! I haven't met too many people yet, but the ones I have met are so generous and kind! We spent Thanksgiving with the Floyd's and their friends and family! They were also super kind to us and made us feel like family.  The sealing I went to was a sealing for Jenna and William Schwartz. Roadtrip!

Heyy!! I'm emailing today because its transfer week so P-day is on Tuesdays every 6 weeks. So this was the longest week but so jam packed busy. Let's start with sad news so that we have a happy ending haha.. soo we lost our favorite ward, Sonoran Mountain, with all our progressing investigators, who we love so much, and our family away from home, the Zamarrons :( There were ward boundary and building changes. So, since transfers are this week, they fixed it all up and we got transferred out of that ward. But, we still have our 2 other great wards, and new ward, Arrowhead ranch (which actually has a lot of members we already know because the ward boundaries changed between them and Sierra Verde).  ANYWAY, I feel comfort and peace about this whole situation and... drum roll please, SISTER KNOX IS AN STL (sister training leader)!!
