This week was FULL of miracles!

This week was FULL of miracles!

So last Sunday, some Elders in downtown Phoenix met Ray just walking down the streets. 2 days later, we received his number from them! The phone number was missing a digit, but I guessed "3" and it worked! We started talking on the phone but he hung up. We assumed he wasn't interested, but we still put him on our schedule. We put him at the end of our list, and almost decided against going to visit him. We had an appointment in like 40 minutes across town, but both decided for some reason that we might as well try to meet him. We went to his apartment and met Ray! He thought it was cool that we are 19 years old, like him! We started to talk about who we are and what we do, and we ended up teaching the Restoration! When we taught about Joseph Smiths experience, seeing Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ he said "I don't know how I feel about that.." Hesitantly, I asked "how do you feel about it?".. he replied saying "I know its true. I just know its true." We were so happy!! And the spirit was SO strong! We asked if he wants to be baptized, and put him on date for baptism! He's getting baptized this Saturday!! He is so excited and just tells us that he feels in his heart that this is right and what Gods plan for him has been all along.

It was crazy to look back at that day and see how Satan tried so hard to get us to not visit Ray, because he knew Ray had been prepared by the Lord to learn and accept Christ's gospel!

This same day we met a ton of people who are interested in learning more about the church and come closer to Christ!

This last Saturday, Mary was baptized!! She looked so cute in the giant jumpsuit haha! She kept saying she feels so good, and kept thanking everyone that came, especially us,  and the Elder who baptized her. She has never looked so happy! :)

We went to Mesa again for the temple lights! Twas good and spiritual, but I was sick, so it was also kind of miserable. Haha but all is well!

We had a multi zone conference this week as well! Elder Ringwood and his wife came to speak with us! His wife is President Nelson's daughter!! So cool! They taught us so much about the scriptures and our calling as missionaries. He taught us that though we may get doors slammed in our face, we can never be rejected, because we are called to find those who the Lord is preparing to receive His gospel. We just talk to everyone in search for those who we were sent to find!

I testify that this is Christ's church. The same priesthood authority and power that Moses had to part the Red Sea, and Christ had to heal people, is here on the earth today! Love you all!

Email me if you ever have any questions about what I do as a missionary, or anything about the church!
