We Aren't Getting Transfered!

Sister Hall and I are both staying here! 
Bad news first: I was sick all day Friday and has to stay home and rest all day... but good news: I received a priesthood blessing and was healed of my sickness by Saturday morning! :)
We had Surena's baptism on Saturday! Shes so awesome and a great example to her family! She followed her Great Grandma's (Mary) example, who we baptized a couple months ago! They are just awesome and have become like family. I love them so much. Its so cool to witness their growth in the gospel.
Surena taught us the 10 commandments, that we taught her, and about other commandments like the word of wisdom, law of chastity, etc. 
Church on Sunday was super good. Lots of great talks, and Troybelle was able to bring her granddaughter and great grandson to church! Troybelle is getting baptized in a couple weeks and is sooo ready. We had a lesson on temples and she is so excited to go through the temple in a year already haha she is just so prepared by the Lord!
We were able to go to the temple this morning and do a session, which was very peaceful, but made me miss my first area, as we drove through it. :(

This church is Jesus Christ's church. You can know by the feelings you have when you come to church, read the scriptures, go in or on temple grounds, attend a baptism, pray, etc. I am so blessed to be a missionary for His true church. I love His gospel and I love witnessing miracles everyday as He leads us to those who He has prepared to learn more.

Houston, we have a baptism!

Hello, One last time! :') Houston was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints this weekend! It was so powerful. The spirit was tangible.  It is such a bittersweet feeling to know this is my last pday and last email. I feel so much peace and fulfillment that the last 18 months of my life have been in the service of my God.  Around 4 years ago I prayed about how I wanted to serve a mission and asked Him if that was in line with His will for me. Heavenly Father led me to a verse in Doctrine and Covenants chapter 4 that says "..if ye have desires to serve God ye are called to the work". This was one of the rare times where my prayer was answered specifically and written out right in front of me.  Since then, I have received many more answers to my prayers. Its P-day Again!

Hi! Soo I mentioned it Saturday, but I have been transferred! I'm in Maryvale with my MTC companion, Sister Hall. We live with two Hermanas, Cienfuegos and Robison, who also came out the same time as us! Its so fun!  Maryvale is a tad different than Northern Glendale haha. The 2 sounds you always hear are cats meowing and sirens haha.. When I told Flo, a convert in my ward, that I was being transferred to Maryvale, she looked scared, started crying, hugged me super tight and started saying a Catholic type prayer haha.. Kinda made me worried about coming down here but its really not bad, and, the Lord protects His missionaries! I haven't met too many people yet, but the ones I have met are so generous and kind! We spent Thanksgiving with the Floyd's and their friends and family! They were also super kind to us and made us feel like family.  The sealing I went to was a sealing for Jenna and William Schwartz. Roadtrip!

Heyy!! I'm emailing today because its transfer week so P-day is on Tuesdays every 6 weeks. So this was the longest week but so jam packed busy. Let's start with sad news so that we have a happy ending haha.. soo we lost our favorite ward, Sonoran Mountain, with all our progressing investigators, who we love so much, and our family away from home, the Zamarrons :( There were ward boundary and building changes. So, since transfers are this week, they fixed it all up and we got transferred out of that ward. But, we still have our 2 other great wards, and new ward, Arrowhead ranch (which actually has a lot of members we already know because the ward boundaries changed between them and Sierra Verde).  ANYWAY, I feel comfort and peace about this whole situation and... drum roll please, SISTER KNOX IS AN STL (sister training leader)!!
