Going North!

I'm getting transferred to Prescott!! I'm so excited! I have only heard good things about my new area and I cant wait to go there! :)) I've learned a TON here in Agua Fria, and transfers are always bittersweet, but I know I've accomplished my purposes for being down here and now its time for me to move on and find those in Prescott who I'm supposed to meet!
This week has been very eventful! We each had 10 hours of service this week.. crazy. We helped chip paint and re-paint the entire outside of an old woman's house, we packed, moved, and cleaned a couple different houses of members that are moving. We have been busy! We found a few new investigators as well! I wish I could witness their progression but I know they are in good hands :)
We were able to go to the Easter Pageant in Mesa which was incredible! I get emotional every time I learn about my Brother and Savior, Jesus Christ. 

This Easter Sunday, we will be blessed to be able to hear from His prophet and apostles. I am so excited for general conference and encourage you all to watch it! You can go to lds.org or watch it on BYUtv on Saturday and Sunday! 
In preparation, prayerfully decide 3 questions you would like answered in general conference. I promise that as you pray and seek answers to those questions, the answers and guidance will be revealed to you. 

I love you all and I'm excited to see what Prescott has in store!

Houston, we have a baptism!

Hello, One last time! :') Houston was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints this weekend! It was so powerful. The spirit was tangible.  It is such a bittersweet feeling to know this is my last pday and last email. I feel so much peace and fulfillment that the last 18 months of my life have been in the service of my God.  Around 4 years ago I prayed about how I wanted to serve a mission and asked Him if that was in line with His will for me. Heavenly Father led me to a verse in Doctrine and Covenants chapter 4 that says "..if ye have desires to serve God ye are called to the work". This was one of the rare times where my prayer was answered specifically and written out right in front of me.  Since then, I have received many more answers to my prayers. Its P-day Again!

Hi! Soo I mentioned it Saturday, but I have been transferred! I'm in Maryvale with my MTC companion, Sister Hall. We live with two Hermanas, Cienfuegos and Robison, who also came out the same time as us! Its so fun!  Maryvale is a tad different than Northern Glendale haha. The 2 sounds you always hear are cats meowing and sirens haha.. When I told Flo, a convert in my ward, that I was being transferred to Maryvale, she looked scared, started crying, hugged me super tight and started saying a Catholic type prayer haha.. Kinda made me worried about coming down here but its really not bad, and, the Lord protects His missionaries! I haven't met too many people yet, but the ones I have met are so generous and kind! We spent Thanksgiving with the Floyd's and their friends and family! They were also super kind to us and made us feel like family.  The sealing I went to was a sealing for Jenna and William Schwartz. Roadtrip!

Heyy!! I'm emailing today because its transfer week so P-day is on Tuesdays every 6 weeks. So this was the longest week but so jam packed busy. Let's start with sad news so that we have a happy ending haha.. soo we lost our favorite ward, Sonoran Mountain, with all our progressing investigators, who we love so much, and our family away from home, the Zamarrons :( There were ward boundary and building changes. So, since transfers are this week, they fixed it all up and we got transferred out of that ward. But, we still have our 2 other great wards, and new ward, Arrowhead ranch (which actually has a lot of members we already know because the ward boundaries changed between them and Sierra Verde).  ANYWAY, I feel comfort and peace about this whole situation and... drum roll please, SISTER KNOX IS AN STL (sister training leader)!!
