This week in Agua Fria

We have had quite the week.  Nothing too exciting, but we have biked 12-20 miles every other day this week and will be doing that the next week or so! So thank you for all your prayers. I have definitely received strength beyond my own and I know Heavenly Father is watching over me, and hears our prayers!

We had an awesome zone conference and learned some handy object lessons. One that I taught is out of Alma 32:28. I don't remember if I've already shared this with you all but if you read the verse, its comparing the word.. or the scriptures and teachings.. to a seed. It says that if the seed is good, you will experience one or more of these 4 things: 
Swelling motions
Enlarge your soul
Enlighten your understanding
Delicious unto you
...and those 4 ways that the spirit communicates with us spell out seed! So in order to know it is a good seed, the spirit will testify to you in one or more of those 4 ways :)

Here is the full verse: 

"Now, we will compare the word unto a seed. Now, if ye give place, that a seed may be planted in your heart, behold, if it be a true seed, or a good seed, if ye do not cast it out by your unbelief, that ye will resist the Spirit of the Lord, behold, it will begin to swell within your breasts; and when you feel these swelling motions, ye will begin to say within yourselves—It must needs be that this is a good seed, or that the word is good, for it beginneth to enlarge my soul; yea, it beginneth to enlighten my understanding, yea, it beginneth to be delicious to me."

If any of you are seeking and answer or guidance, ask God. Seek to know His will for you. Act on promptings you receive and don't postpone them! The Lord is aware of you and wants what is best for you. He hears and answers prayers. He loves us, His children.

Houston, we have a baptism!

Hello, One last time! :') Houston was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints this weekend! It was so powerful. The spirit was tangible.  It is such a bittersweet feeling to know this is my last pday and last email. I feel so much peace and fulfillment that the last 18 months of my life have been in the service of my God.  Around 4 years ago I prayed about how I wanted to serve a mission and asked Him if that was in line with His will for me. Heavenly Father led me to a verse in Doctrine and Covenants chapter 4 that says "..if ye have desires to serve God ye are called to the work". This was one of the rare times where my prayer was answered specifically and written out right in front of me.  Since then, I have received many more answers to my prayers. Its P-day Again!

Hi! Soo I mentioned it Saturday, but I have been transferred! I'm in Maryvale with my MTC companion, Sister Hall. We live with two Hermanas, Cienfuegos and Robison, who also came out the same time as us! Its so fun!  Maryvale is a tad different than Northern Glendale haha. The 2 sounds you always hear are cats meowing and sirens haha.. When I told Flo, a convert in my ward, that I was being transferred to Maryvale, she looked scared, started crying, hugged me super tight and started saying a Catholic type prayer haha.. Kinda made me worried about coming down here but its really not bad, and, the Lord protects His missionaries! I haven't met too many people yet, but the ones I have met are so generous and kind! We spent Thanksgiving with the Floyd's and their friends and family! They were also super kind to us and made us feel like family.  The sealing I went to was a sealing for Jenna and William Schwartz. Roadtrip!

Heyy!! I'm emailing today because its transfer week so P-day is on Tuesdays every 6 weeks. So this was the longest week but so jam packed busy. Let's start with sad news so that we have a happy ending haha.. soo we lost our favorite ward, Sonoran Mountain, with all our progressing investigators, who we love so much, and our family away from home, the Zamarrons :( There were ward boundary and building changes. So, since transfers are this week, they fixed it all up and we got transferred out of that ward. But, we still have our 2 other great wards, and new ward, Arrowhead ranch (which actually has a lot of members we already know because the ward boundaries changed between them and Sierra Verde).  ANYWAY, I feel comfort and peace about this whole situation and... drum roll please, SISTER KNOX IS AN STL (sister training leader)!!
