Chasing Miracles

Hey! Super pumped to be companions with Sister Mathews! Shes super cool. We are pumped for the Wibergs, Anna and Riley, for their baptism this Saturday!! 😁

So many miracles this week! One of the coolest was this Sunday when a young mom named Jenna walked into church. She has an 8 week old little boy and she has a strong feeling that she knew him before this life and that he came from somewhere. She remembered her Mormon friends growing up, and so she borrowed a Book of Mormon from the library, and has been studying it! This is the only church that teaches about where we came from, and so she started investigating on her own. She was truly led by the spirit :) she came to church yesterday and told us her story! She said, so far from what shes researched, the church patches up holes and answers questions that other churches were unable to answer. We are going to start teaching her this week :)

This Sunday was fast and testimony meeting and I found this hymn and shared it in my testimony, and felt I should share it with all of you as well :)

(hymn 127)

"Does the journey seem long,
The path rugged and steep?
Are there briars and thorns on the way?
Do sharp stones cut your feet
As you struggle to rise
To the heights thru the heat of the day? (Yes! Especially in Arizona!)

Is your heart faint and sad,
Your soul weary within,
As you toil ’neath your burden of care?
Does the load heavy seem
You are forced now to lift?
Is there no one your burden to share?"

(..have you felt this way before?)

"Let your heart be not faint
Now the journey’s begun;
There is One who still beckons to you.
So look upward in joy
And take hold of his hand;
He will lead you to heights that are new—

...Take his hand and with him enter in."

He is there. Your Savior, Jesus Christ, suffered and died for YOU. He understands you. He understands your trials and temptations and heartaches. He loves you and is always there for you, with His arms outstretched..waiting, willing and able to lift and comfort you.
Your Father in Heaven is mindful of you. He hears your prayers, even the ones in your heart that you cant seem to put into words. He knows you by name and He knows your need. He will never turn His back on you. Turn to Him. He is listening. He cares. I have felt of His divine live for me personally.

Love you all!
