Short email!

Not too much to talk about this week!
We had exchanges and I went back to my first area again! I saw Shaggi.. good ol dog. We had a stake meeting and breakfast and President Weathersby’s house which was fun! We had interviews with President on Friday which is always nice. I tried fry bread this week. It was super good! It would've been better if it wasn't my second dinner that night haha but still yummy! 
We explored Black canyon city some more today with the other sisters in our zone. We tried the Rock Springs pie place.. not the best but its a cool place! Heres some pictures from our adventures today!
We found 2 new people to teach! A single mom with 3 kids. The oldest is 10 and she's super smart and creative and excited to start activity days!
One of our wards had a talent show and it was really funny because Sister Mathews and I have been out on our missions so long we didn't know half the songs that were played or sung 😂😂
We had a few dinners cancelled and one ended up in us going to a place called "Mama's Hawaiian Bar-b-cue" haha it was an interesting joint. 

The scriptures teach us that if everyone were as righteous as Moroni, "the very powers of hell would have been shaken forever; yea, the devil would never have power over the hearts of the children of men." (Alma 48:17). This is because he was so humble and full of gratitude. We can be even as he, "a man whose heart did swell with thanksgiving to his God", and have God's power on our side. 
Take a moment and give a prayer of thanks to God. Remember you'd have nothing without Him. He loves you. I promise that as you reflect on blessings and things you're grateful for, then thank Him for them, you will feel His love for you!

Houston, we have a baptism!

Hello, One last time! :') Houston was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints this weekend! It was so powerful. The spirit was tangible.  It is such a bittersweet feeling to know this is my last pday and last email. I feel so much peace and fulfillment that the last 18 months of my life have been in the service of my God.  Around 4 years ago I prayed about how I wanted to serve a mission and asked Him if that was in line with His will for me. Heavenly Father led me to a verse in Doctrine and Covenants chapter 4 that says "..if ye have desires to serve God ye are called to the work". This was one of the rare times where my prayer was answered specifically and written out right in front of me.  Since then, I have received many more answers to my prayers. Its P-day Again!

Hi! Soo I mentioned it Saturday, but I have been transferred! I'm in Maryvale with my MTC companion, Sister Hall. We live with two Hermanas, Cienfuegos and Robison, who also came out the same time as us! Its so fun!  Maryvale is a tad different than Northern Glendale haha. The 2 sounds you always hear are cats meowing and sirens haha.. When I told Flo, a convert in my ward, that I was being transferred to Maryvale, she looked scared, started crying, hugged me super tight and started saying a Catholic type prayer haha.. Kinda made me worried about coming down here but its really not bad, and, the Lord protects His missionaries! I haven't met too many people yet, but the ones I have met are so generous and kind! We spent Thanksgiving with the Floyd's and their friends and family! They were also super kind to us and made us feel like family.  The sealing I went to was a sealing for Jenna and William Schwartz. Roadtrip!

Heyy!! I'm emailing today because its transfer week so P-day is on Tuesdays every 6 weeks. So this was the longest week but so jam packed busy. Let's start with sad news so that we have a happy ending haha.. soo we lost our favorite ward, Sonoran Mountain, with all our progressing investigators, who we love so much, and our family away from home, the Zamarrons :( There were ward boundary and building changes. So, since transfers are this week, they fixed it all up and we got transferred out of that ward. But, we still have our 2 other great wards, and new ward, Arrowhead ranch (which actually has a lot of members we already know because the ward boundaries changed between them and Sierra Verde).  ANYWAY, I feel comfort and peace about this whole situation and... drum roll please, SISTER KNOX IS AN STL (sister training leader)!!
