Life is good in Daisy Mountain 🌼

This week flew by! Let's see, since last pday, we have been pretty busy, and its only getting busier! This week we have meetings everyday except Saturday. Most of them are in the morning too.. tomorrow morning we have a meeting at 6, then Wednesday through Friday we have meetings with Lynn G Robbins that start at 7 AM !! We have lessons, service, and other meetings on top of all that. Im pumped, but pray for us haha we are going to be so tired. 

Jenna texted us this week and said that she finished the Book of Mormon. :) and now she is going to start reviewing the parts she highlighted! Crazy how fast she's read it all!

We went to youth conference to help out with some things and everyone dresses like greasers these days! Haha everyone has short jeans - cut or rolled - lots of denim - and everyone has checkered vans! It was fun to interact with the youth haha 

Miracle!! A member gave us a referral for a woman he met unexpectedly when delivering a safe for work. When we stopped by she was outside sweeping. She didn't want to talk to us until we told her that someone she knew sent us. We told her Dave the safe delivery guy belongs to our church and she was touched that we came by. It was a huge miracle because our names almost make up the name of her deceased boyfriend..his name was Matthew Carrick. She thought someone set us up she was so amazed by the "coincidence". She saw it as a sign from God that her choice to join a rehabilitation program that week was the right choice. We said a prayer with her and she was just really grateful we stopped by. God works in mysterious ways!! He knows His children and He knows our needs. ❤

Houston, we have a baptism!

Hello, One last time! :') Houston was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints this weekend! It was so powerful. The spirit was tangible.  It is such a bittersweet feeling to know this is my last pday and last email. I feel so much peace and fulfillment that the last 18 months of my life have been in the service of my God.  Around 4 years ago I prayed about how I wanted to serve a mission and asked Him if that was in line with His will for me. Heavenly Father led me to a verse in Doctrine and Covenants chapter 4 that says "..if ye have desires to serve God ye are called to the work". This was one of the rare times where my prayer was answered specifically and written out right in front of me.  Since then, I have received many more answers to my prayers. Its P-day Again!

Hi! Soo I mentioned it Saturday, but I have been transferred! I'm in Maryvale with my MTC companion, Sister Hall. We live with two Hermanas, Cienfuegos and Robison, who also came out the same time as us! Its so fun!  Maryvale is a tad different than Northern Glendale haha. The 2 sounds you always hear are cats meowing and sirens haha.. When I told Flo, a convert in my ward, that I was being transferred to Maryvale, she looked scared, started crying, hugged me super tight and started saying a Catholic type prayer haha.. Kinda made me worried about coming down here but its really not bad, and, the Lord protects His missionaries! I haven't met too many people yet, but the ones I have met are so generous and kind! We spent Thanksgiving with the Floyd's and their friends and family! They were also super kind to us and made us feel like family.  The sealing I went to was a sealing for Jenna and William Schwartz. Roadtrip!

Heyy!! I'm emailing today because its transfer week so P-day is on Tuesdays every 6 weeks. So this was the longest week but so jam packed busy. Let's start with sad news so that we have a happy ending haha.. soo we lost our favorite ward, Sonoran Mountain, with all our progressing investigators, who we love so much, and our family away from home, the Zamarrons :( There were ward boundary and building changes. So, since transfers are this week, they fixed it all up and we got transferred out of that ward. But, we still have our 2 other great wards, and new ward, Arrowhead ranch (which actually has a lot of members we already know because the ward boundaries changed between them and Sierra Verde).  ANYWAY, I feel comfort and peace about this whole situation and... drum roll please, SISTER KNOX IS AN STL (sister training leader)!!
