"You're Too Sick to Die"
That quote was from an old man at church when he asked "how are you?" And i said, as I coughed, "Im dying" and he said i was too sick to die.
Sooo I've been sick since last Monday night haha.. being sick on the mission is rough because you're used to being busy 24/7 so laying in bed for 75% of the day for 6 days is not fun. Luckily the members are amazing and have been taking good care of me. The bishop gave us a humidifier, and 4 members have given me tissues and medicine :)
We have kept busy by listening to conference talks, sister Mathews started crocheting a blanket. I made a dream catcher out of a hanger, and some other little things haha.. we have watched practically every video ever made by the church. And i did a lot of sleeping.
We had 2 dinners on Thursday and the second one, we saw the elders at dinner too at the restaurant we were at!
At district meeting i was supposed to lead a discussion, so i wrote a script and sister mathews read it as i wrote things on the board, because i lost my voice! There was a couple decorating the church for their ring ceremony and reception while we were there for district meeting hah so that explains the picture i sent this morning.
We also sang in relief society in one of our wards yesterday so I drank honey (which makes me gag) so that I could sing.
Oh yeah and Sister Mathews cut my hair! It was very similar to that scene in Napoleon Dynamite when Pedro comes home and is hot and shaves his head. Haha
Well I'm still sick and tired but getting better! Thanks for the prayers. Love y'all!
