Week full of Christmas parties

Merry Christmas!

So this week was awesome! We had our mission Christmas celebration "remembering Christmas" and President designated me in charge of caroling hahah 
We also went caroling with the YSA which was so fun and with our zone which was also fun! I love caroling! Especially since its not very common anymore, so it was cool to see the pleasantly surprised reaction of the houses we sang to!
I also went on exchanges up north in chino valley this week which was great! I love it up north, but i was sooooo cold. It was like in the 30s/40s at parts of the day. We saw lots of miracles that day though:)
We also had our ward Christmas party (a night in Bethlehem) it was sooo amazing. It really felt like you were in Bethlehem it was so great. We read the nativity to kids, and i sang "What child Is This" at the start of the program - which i was asked to do the day before and only practiced 10 mins before the event started haha but it turned out well!
This Sunday was the special Christmas sacrament meeting. Good turn out! Saw miracles, and lots of amazing musical numbers. 3 women in our family ward sang the hallelujah chorus and it was angelic! Soooo good.

As the new year is approaching, I want to invite all of you to think of some ways that you can keep the spirit of Christ strong throughout your whole year, as abundant as it is during Christmas time! I know and promise as you do, you will feel of Christ and Heavenly Fathers love more, have an increase of joy and peace in your everyday life,  and be able to bring that light to others :)

Houston, we have a baptism!

Hello, One last time! :') Houston was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints this weekend! It was so powerful. The spirit was tangible.  It is such a bittersweet feeling to know this is my last pday and last email. I feel so much peace and fulfillment that the last 18 months of my life have been in the service of my God.  Around 4 years ago I prayed about how I wanted to serve a mission and asked Him if that was in line with His will for me. Heavenly Father led me to a verse in Doctrine and Covenants chapter 4 that says "..if ye have desires to serve God ye are called to the work". This was one of the rare times where my prayer was answered specifically and written out right in front of me.  Since then, I have received many more answers to my prayers. Its P-day Again!

Hi! Soo I mentioned it Saturday, but I have been transferred! I'm in Maryvale with my MTC companion, Sister Hall. We live with two Hermanas, Cienfuegos and Robison, who also came out the same time as us! Its so fun!  Maryvale is a tad different than Northern Glendale haha. The 2 sounds you always hear are cats meowing and sirens haha.. When I told Flo, a convert in my ward, that I was being transferred to Maryvale, she looked scared, started crying, hugged me super tight and started saying a Catholic type prayer haha.. Kinda made me worried about coming down here but its really not bad, and, the Lord protects His missionaries! I haven't met too many people yet, but the ones I have met are so generous and kind! We spent Thanksgiving with the Floyd's and their friends and family! They were also super kind to us and made us feel like family.  The sealing I went to was a sealing for Jenna and William Schwartz. Roadtrip!

Heyy!! I'm emailing today because its transfer week so P-day is on Tuesdays every 6 weeks. So this was the longest week but so jam packed busy. Let's start with sad news so that we have a happy ending haha.. soo we lost our favorite ward, Sonoran Mountain, with all our progressing investigators, who we love so much, and our family away from home, the Zamarrons :( There were ward boundary and building changes. So, since transfers are this week, they fixed it all up and we got transferred out of that ward. But, we still have our 2 other great wards, and new ward, Arrowhead ranch (which actually has a lot of members we already know because the ward boundaries changed between them and Sierra Verde).  ANYWAY, I feel comfort and peace about this whole situation and... drum roll please, SISTER KNOX IS AN STL (sister training leader)!!
